OUR MISSION
The mission of Stony Point Lacrosse Club is to promote the great game of lacrosse to athletes in the Round Rock and surrounding areas. We commit ourselves to teaching the game, sportsmanship, integrity, teamwork, and helping each athlete develop to their fullest potential as a lacrosse player and a person. We strive to develop lacrosse players that leave our organization with fantastic memories of a program that inspired them and helped shape them into admirable young men.
About the Organization
Stony Point Lacrosse is a Club based sport founded in 2022. The organization completed its first year in the Texas High School Lacrosse League (THSLL.org) during the 2024 spring season! We are looking forward to expanding and building on our first year in league play in the next season.
As a THSLL team, we must be aligned with one high school. Stony Point High School is our "home" school, but full participation is open to all high school attendees grades 9-12, currently for students attending Stony Point, Cedar Ridge, and Pflugerville High Schools.
We prioritize providing education and awareness of lacrosse to these areas, promoting the sport of lacrosse to Round Rock and surrounding area high schools, and providing support to feeder youth lacrosse programs as needed. We focus on developing beginner players, sharpening the skills of intermediate players, and preparing players for college recruiting.
Our season is in spring, however, we train our players and develop skills year-round. Fall is the right time to start if you are learning the sport for the first time. We provide attention and effort in building a resume for players interested in playing in college.
